Welcome to the Port Pacific & Metallikahmish Bay Railway : The Blog. The purpose of this blog is to chronicle the history of my HO scale model railroad - from design through construction, completion, operation and future expansion. I've built a few model railroads in the past which never lasted long due to moves, switching scales from HO to N to O27 and back, and to abandonment of the main line to other life interests. This one is smaller in scope with an eye toward complete operation by the end of the winter of 2009/2010 and future expansion when I have more space. The blog will be packed full notes, sketches, construction photos and action shots...All aboard!
