As Port Pacific is an urban/industrial environment, graffiti fits naturally on any large flat vertical surface. The inspiration for the art on the wall comes from several places around Portland, Oregon.
* Along the Eastbank Esplanade (next to the statue of former mayor Vera Katz)
* Along the Springwater Corridor bicycle trail on the Willamette (near the Ross Island bridge)
* Underneath the west end of the Steel Bridge
Here are the photos that I took on bicycle rides around town:

Once I had the source photos the project was really simple. First off, pick your photos and print a few different sizes to see what will fit and how the different pictures look together on the wall.
Print them all out and position them to get the look you want.
Glue them on with Elmer's white glue.
Finally, use Sharpie fine point pent to tag some additional graffiti and to blend them together.
Here are a few photos of the finished product. I'm happy with it and might add some more of it on other walls around the layout later on. Fun to watch out for stuff like this when biking and walking around town - camera at the ready.
