Northlake Tavern & Fireball Distillery

Just some quick rework on Northlake Tavern.  A few changes:
  • Added more rooftop detail including more sign bracing and a cap for one of the exhaust vents
  • Changed the front door so it's in the partially open position
  • Added a few more figures heading in for lunch
Northlake tavern is now 100% complete

Next I modified a Mt. Vernon Manufacturing kit to build the Fireball Distillery.  I wanted this to be a low building so it doesn't distract too much from the hill behind it.

The inspiration for the location is the old Trident Imports warehouse - long torn down - that used to sit underneath highway 99 very near where the railroad tunnel under downtown Seattle ends near Alaskan Way.

There is just enough room to park a semi-trailer (without the cab) at the loading dock.  One 50' rail car will fit on the spur that leads into the building.

The building will need a roof over the office and some additional detail.  For now moving on to other projects.
