Two Years

A few thoughts and changes to the railroad at the 2nd anniversary of the start of construction:
  • The south end town will now be Metallikahmish Bay .
  • The north end town will be built in N scale on the bluff and will not be named.  It is there to force perspective and include some urban features that didn't fit in HO.  When the railroad is expanded, the bluff buildings will represent old downtown Metallikahmish Bay.
  • Interchange lines that will be represented are the Canadian Pacific and the Great Northern
  • Short lines that will be represented are the Metallikahmish Bay & Port Pacific Railroad and the White Pass, Astoria & Tillamook Railway.
  • Rolling stock will be customized as needed.
  • All vehicles and rolling stock will have at least minor modifications to customize them for the layout.  The same applies to building kits, bridges and boats.
The layout at the end of year 2:
