Prep Work for HWPS Slaughterhouse, Shell tank farm & Onceler's Thneeds

With the F.D.H.Q. back in position construction has moved up hill to the north of the Northlake Tavern. Across one track, the road, and a second track to the north, you'll see the foundation for Onceler's Thneed factory. The huge wall with the vista dome in front of it will be the south wall of the building.
The the left, or west of that is the subfoundation for a tank to be shared by the Thneed factory and the Shell tank farm. Signage on the south side will be for the Thneed factory - Shell on the north side.

Across the track to the north is the location of the Shell tank farm...where a through road will parallel the siding for truck loading/unloading next to where the tank cars load/unload.

Where the road dead ends at what will be the bay is the south bridge abutment for the highway bridge that will go up to the town of Metallikahmish Bay. This raised bridge replaces what was to be a drawbridge...changed my mind for simplicity's sake.

Still t.b.d. on what will be located on the small subfoundation to the east of the bridge approach.

In the southeast corner of the layout is the subfoundation for the HWPS slaughterhouse. This will be a major industry with parking and a water tower on the roof inspired by the NYC Port Authority bus terminal building.
