Great Northern Signal Tower & More Other Stuff

First with the Other Stuff:
  • Added another profile board - this one just to the northeast end of the Douglas Canal bridge.  This is an abbreviated profile board.  The track switch diagram (framed) will be attached to the front of the layout directly beneath it.
  • Continued work on the Thneed Factory, fleshing out some additional detail.  I cut the back 1/4 extension off of the factory to make room for a bigger, newer portion of the factory complex to be attached in its place.
  • Came up with a new placement - slightly forward - which will mean the foundation needs to be extended as well.  This will leave room for a truck loading dock that stretches to the road.
  • Added a guy in the front of the building.
  • Installed all of the doors and windows in the exterior walls.
  • Used up all of the rest of my ballast and my greenery on the north end of the layout.
  • Added a layer of clear plastic packing tape to the outside of the three Slaughterhouse billboards.
The Great Northern Signal Tower was mostly built already.  It was initially on the south end of the bay.  I added signal equipment inside the tower as well as another HO figure.  Also added were a couple of Great Northern signs and a couple of No Trespassing signs.

The Great Northern Signal Tower is now complete.

Next time:  Thneed Factory and Pt. Pacific FDHQ
